- Location: Dartmouth, NS
- Shifts: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Job type: Full-time | Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in the delivery area
- Completes deliveries by driving trucks to and from vendors
- Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, maintaining a clean shipping supply area, and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- This position includes shipping and receiving duties, completing shipments by processing, loading and delivering orders, and general warehouse duties
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience working in an industrial, customer-focused environment
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
- Able to drive a truck not exceeding 14.000 kg (30.864 lbs)
- Forklift experience is required
- Receiving experience, and computer skills will be considered assets.
- Motivated to learn with a positive attitude
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain Government of Canada Security and Controlled Goods Clearances, which are granted exclusively to Permanent Residents or Canadian Citizens.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
