Adecco is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our client’s dynamic and fast-paced team in Debert, NS. This is a temporary to possibly permanent position offering a competitive wage of $19.30 per hour. The role involves assembling orders for shipment to stores, picking and packing, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.

  • Pay rate: $19.30/hour.

  • Location: Debert, NS

  • Shifts: Afternoon shift - 3:00pm-11:30pm

  • Job type: Temporary to Permanent possible | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all orders are correctly picked and packed for timely shipment to stores.

  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Follow company guidelines and procedures to ensure the workplace is always clean and safe.

  • Picking & Packing Orders: Efficiently pick, pack, and label products for delivery.

  • Using Hand Scanners and Pallet Jacks: Use scanners for inventory tracking and pallet jacks to transport materials within the warehouse.

  • Physical Work: Frequently bending, lifting, and reaching as part of regular duties.

  • Other Duties as Required: Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • 1 year of Forklift experience.

  • The ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.

  • Capability to stand and walk for long periods.

  • Ability to work in environments with possible exposure to extreme temperatures.

  • Alertness to surrounding activity, including other people and vehicles.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
