Adecco is currently seeking a talented UX Researcher-Business to join our team in Toronto, ON, for a 12-month Contract role. You'll lead end-to-end research projects, drive insights into design decisions, and advocate for a user-centered approach, impacting our client's commercial growth.

Business User Experience Researchers are driven by the desire to be a customer advocate and are passionate about gathering insights based on direct observation and behavior to create user experiences that are intuitive, delightful, and easy to learn and interact with. Business UX Researchers work across portfolios and manage multiple projects in order to execute strategic and tactical research initiatives, with insights being used to help shape digital products and omni channel experiences. They understand how vital research is at ensuring we are customer centric. They will provide strategic guidance on incorporating user research methodologies into the product design and development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
UX team/Cx team
 

  • Business UX Researcher identifies knowledge gaps and opportunities for other research

across the Business portfolios. Researcher will liaise with UX Principal Researcher and UX
Business Director to recommend new research opportunities

  • Business UX Researcher leads multiple research projects over time. These are a mix of  foundational and strategic projects that provide insights on our Business customers (e.g. context, goals, needs, wants, pain points, behaviors, usability challenges, etc.). The UX researcher is responsible for disseminating these insights to the UX team.

  • Support cross-functional journey mapping workshops and other empathy building activities.  

  • Business UX Researchers will share insights with stakeholders, UX team & researchers across Business portfolios to ensure that the design of omni-channel services, the service/digital experience, and the end-to-end experience across customer-facing touchpoints is user centered

  • Build or contribute to building a holistic picture of our Business customers be it through journeys, personas creation and triangulations of other research conducted by other teams, e,g, Market Research, VOC or analytics data.

  • Lead in the translation of cross-portfolio findings into impactful results, empowering product teams with a clear understanding of where to go next.


UXR team role

  • Shares Insights via team sharing as well as Friday demos 

  • Periodically conducts competitive review, Industry trends

  • Ensures consistent measurement, questions, and report templates are used in all projects

Qualification:

  • Experience conducting research with Business roles, especially C-suite

  • Expertise in knowing when to apply the range of research methods with experience in collecting and reporting deep actionable insights.

  • Strong evangelist of a customer-focused approach, providing impact through insights.

  • Independently driven problem-solver who enjoys working with others to establishing consensus and facilitate change.

  • Practical experience in scaling user research methods and processes throughout the product life cycle.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills a must.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in respective discipline.

  • Master's degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Science or related field.
