Responsibilities:
Assembles components according to specific drawings and procedures and process documentation.
Operates various manufacturing equipment, fully certified, according to documented processes and defined schedules and loads.
Uses pneumatic tools and equipment as well as hand tools for assembly purposes.
Provides support to the Manufacturing Team Lead.
Identifies, articulates and escalates problems or issues for Technical Support or Engineering, and assists in gathering requested information and proof necessary to help establish the root cause of problems and determine corrective action.
Uses a variety of current software to properly execute required computer transactions, such as SFDC, Agile, and Excel.
Properly executes on inventory control, cycle counting, and computer transactions.
Orders and ensures any printed labels are correct and transacted to the correct planned order on tracker.
Identifies and applies ECO modifications or other instructions.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and performance standards.
Supports other company requirements when necessary.
Normally follows established procedures on routine work; requires instructions only on new assignments.
Requirements:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
A minimum of at least 1-2 years’ proven experience in inverter testing and wiring of both control and power panels to wiring schedules and drawings is essential.
Nationally recognized certification in the field of panel wiring/electronic engineering.
Certification to IPC 620.
Must be able to interpret electrical drawings.
Experience/knowledge in selection of cable sizes, types and ratings along with application of cable termination/crimping techniques and soldering skills.
Must be able to separate control and power cables, identify and terminate wires as appropriate.
Perform assigned in-process inspection duties as required during product test.
