This role involves inspecting, testing, and monitoring supplier performance while working closely with internal teams and external vendors to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.

Shift: Monday-Thursday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm AND Friday: 7:30 am to 2:00 pm

Responsibilities:
Conduct regular evaluations of supplier performance, including on-site audits and inspections.
Monitor and analyze supplier quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Maintain documentation of supplier quality records and performance data.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish quality standards for incoming materials and components.
Perform incoming inspections on received materials to verify conformance to specifications.
Investigate and resolve quality issues related to supplied materials in a timely manner.
Foster positive relationships with suppliers through effective communication and collaboration.
Provide feedback to suppliers on quality performance and work together to implement corrective actions as necessary.
Act as a liaison between internal departments and suppliers to address quality-related concerns and drive continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supplier quality management system.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes of quality issues.
Participate in cross-functional teams to support quality-related projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
Previous experience in a quality assurance or supplier quality role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory requirements is a plus.
