Adecco is urgently hiring fora highly motivated Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to lead quality assurance initiatives within our client’s dynamic and innovative environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing the test strategy, test plan and associated presentation materials
Preparing and updating templates for test cases and test scripts
Review existing test cases and test scripts and providing feedback
Work closely with the project team to ensure test cases and test scripts are written as required
Communicate regularly with testers to review progress, escalating issues to the Project Manager
Preparing and updating defect and issue reports
Preparing and updating software quality metrics reports
Contributing to project weekly status reports
Responsible for the final software quality report
Creating a test calendar and keeping it updated
Recommendations for User Acceptance Testing
Weekly status report detailing their tasks completed during the week, tasks scheduled for the upcoming week, estimated effort to complete; backlog items
Weekly timesheet submission
Leading/facilitating workshops with project teams and stakeholders, including senior executives
Leading stakeholder communications, managing stakeholder expectations
Qualifications and Skills:
Undergraduate degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; OR
College diploma with a specialization in Business Analysis or Project Management.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., ECBA, CCBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Certification in Quality Management from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 10 years of experience managing all aspects of Quality Assurance, including requirements gathering, documentation, process mapping, UAT testing, and test scripting, with a strong understanding of quality management concepts, methodologies, and testing techniques.
8+ years of experience translating user stories into functional and non-functional requirements, as well as test artifacts.
8+ years of hands-on experience in executing test scripts and documenting test outcomes.
8+ years of experience in software testing.
Experience working in a Higher Education environment.
Background in information technology-related projects.
Proven experience working with senior executives and stakeholders to drive project success.
?Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project Desktop, MS Project Online).
?Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Expertise in using MS Teams and SharePoint.
Familiarity with diagramming software, such as MS Visio
Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
Excellent analysis and problem-resolution skills.
Excellent organizing and facilitation skills with cross-functional multi-department teams.
Excellent communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
The ability to multi-task, leading test execution on one stream of work while strategizing and planning the testing for a different stream of work.
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
