Adecco is currently recruiting for a Security Solutions Architect. This is a 1-year Hybrid contract opportunity with a possibility of extension. This role is with one of our crown corporation client based in Ottawa. The successful candidate must be eligible for a Reliability Security Clearance.
The Security Solutions Architect will have the following responsibilities:

  • Work with team to develop, architect, provide guidance, and help implement security solutions in support of our Application Security Program including: o Security Testing Tools for application development (SCA, SAST, DAST)

  • Container Security (scanning, registries, orchestration, deployment)

  • Source Code Management (e.g. GitHub)

  • CI/CD Pipelines

  • Security in the Software Development Lifecycle

  • 3rd party library and package security

  • Secure Coding

  • Security Testing Tools

  • DevSecOps and CI/CD

  • Container Security

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Cloud Security (as it relates to Application Security) and Azure

  • Support team in providing guidance on processes in support of defect tracking in the software development lifecycle

  • Participate in various informational sessions as needed

  • Other activities and deliverables, as required

The Security Solutions Architect must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Must have a University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field;

  • Must have professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM;

  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in Cyber Security; Must have demonstrated experience working in the field of Application Security or Software Development, Secure Coding, DevSecOps, Container Security, CI/CD Security, Infrastructure as Code;

  • Experience with application security frameworks such as OWASP SAMM, ASVS, or NIST SSDF

  • Demonstrated knowledge of application security, container security, SDLC, Jira and Confluence,

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Operations (Azure)
