Adecco is actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our clients dynamic team in Vancouver, BC. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $80k-$100k per annum, based on experience. As a Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with Gastroenterologists to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment strategies for patients. You will also provide crucial support to multi-disciplinary clinics, educate patients and caregivers, administer therapies, and participate in research and continuous education activities.

  • Pay Rate: $80k-$100k/year.

  • Location: Vancouver, BC

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with Gastroenterologists to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment strategies.

  • Assist with initial consultations and conduct follow-up appointments with physicians.

  • Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers about various aspects of gastrointestinal diseases.

  • Support multi-disciplinary clinics such as nutrition, colorectal surgery, and pregnancy.

  • Provide treatment recommendations and advice to patients.

  • Facilitate access to urgent care and communicate patient status to the healthcare team.

  • Administer biological therapies and teach patients self-injection and management at home.

  • Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of clinic records.

  • Participate in research, continuous education, and academic meetings.

Requirements:  

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

  • Registered Nurse with BCCNP registration.

  • Minimum 3 years of RN experience, preferably in hospital/clinical/research settings.

  • BSN and BSL qualifications required.

  • Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations.

  • Dedication to ongoing learning and continuing education.

  • Team player with a desire to grow and develop.

  • IV and Phlebotomy certification is an asset.

  • Experience in gastroenterology is an asset.
