Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Product Owner specializing in Software Composition Analysis (SCA) and SBOM capabilities to join our clients team in Toronto, ON. This is a contract role offering $91.75 per hour, ideal for candidates with a strong background in IT Security and Product Management.

  • Pay rate: $91.75/hour.

  • Location: Toronto, ON | Hybrid model

    • Tuesday and Thursday in office

    • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from home

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the product strategy for Software Composition Analysis (SCA) and SBOM capabilities.

  • Manage and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with stakeholder objectives.

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration sessions with development, engineering, DevOps, and application security teams.

  • Provide data-driven insights and articulate key metrics and achievements to stakeholders.

  • Present product updates and roadmap decisions to senior leadership.

  • Document processes, requirements, and product information effectively.

  • Build business cases with clear cost/benefit analysis to secure funding approvals.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • 10+ years’ experience in IT Security with a focus on application security and/or DevOps.

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Product Manager.

  • Proficiency with AppSec domains (SAST, SCA, DAST) and tools (Veracode, Checkmarx, etc.).

  • Experience documenting processes and building business cases.

  • Experience with API Security.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD Pipeline tools and processes.

  • Experience in the financial industry or tech/startups.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.
