Adecco is currently seeking an experienced MRO Weekend Shift Supervisor to join our clients team to oversee maintenance, repair, and operations activities during the weekend shift. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive performance, ensure safety, and implement continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Pay rate: $45-$48/hour.

  • Location: Ajax, ON

  • Shifts: Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise MRO weekend shift activities to ensure smooth operations.

  • Achieve departmental targets for Delivery Performance, Quality, and budgets.

  • Maintain high standards of shop organization, control, housekeeping, and safety.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to support Business Initiative targets, including Visual Management.

  • Collaborate with Engineering to identify technical issues and develop procedures to ensure compliance.

  • Handle labour relations administration and problem-solving effectively.

  • Foster teamwork and improve motivation among staff.

  • Ensure personnel receive necessary training as per Transport Canada and internal procedures.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • University degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Experience managing/supervising in a unionized environment is an asset.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Understanding of and experience with Regulatory standards.

  • Willingness to support requirements outside normal working hours.
