Adecco is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Millwright to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and machinery. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, disassembling, and maintaining industrial equipment and machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of mechanical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery, motors, pumps, and other mechanical components.
- Use tools such as lathes, welding machines, grinders, and other machines to cut, shape, and assemble parts.
- Read blueprints, technical manuals, and other instructions to ensure proper installation and maintenance.
- Inspect equipment for wear and tear, and perform preventive maintenance tasks to avoid breakdowns.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop solutions for complex mechanical issues.
- Adhere to all safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Completed apprenticeship or relevant technical training (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar mechanical field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machines.
- Familiarity with blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy equipment as needed.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
