Adecco is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Millwright to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and machinery. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, disassembling, and maintaining industrial equipment and machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair a variety of mechanical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery, motors, pumps, and other mechanical components.
  • Use tools such as lathes, welding machines, grinders, and other machines to cut, shape, and assemble parts.
  • Read blueprints, technical manuals, and other instructions to ensure proper installation and maintenance.
  • Inspect equipment for wear and tear, and perform preventive maintenance tasks to avoid breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop solutions for complex mechanical issues.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Completed apprenticeship or relevant technical training (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar mechanical field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools, welding equipment, and machines.
  • Familiarity with blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy equipment as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred).
