Adecco is currently hiring for a full-time Laboratory Technologist, to work at a well-established integrated oil and natural gas company, in Foster Creek, AB.  As a Laboratory Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying laboratory operations, ensuring safety compliance, and contributing to environmental systems management. ·       Location: Foster Creek, AB

·       Shifts: 7 days on 7 days off | FIFO out of Calgary/Edmonton

·       Job type: Full-time | 1-year Contract

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Conduct routine and non-routine lab analysis  for Operations, MARP, EPAP, Compliance, Regulatory, Production Accounting, Reservoir and Sales Oil

·       Collaborate with stakeholders on projects, research and development, and operations optimization

·       Accurately report and communicate data as required

·       Adhere to all laboratory standard operating procedures

·       Maintain laboratory in a neat and organized condition including stocking of laboratory supplies, general cleaning of equipment, work area, sample management, and waste disposal

·       Troubleshoot and calibrate lab instrumentation

·       Perform daily QAQC on lab instruments and equipment

·       Comply with Health, Safety, and Environment requirements

 Requirements and Qualifications: 

·       Bachelor of Science is an asset

·       A diploma in Chemical Technology is preferred

·       H2S Alive certification is a must

·       Proficiency in M.S. Office Suite

·       Minimum class 5 driver’s license is required

·       Team-oriented and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment

·       Must be legally eligible to reside and work in Canada
