Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and certified Journeyman Electrician to join our client’s team in Red Deer, AB! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires interpreting technical drawings, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality service to clients.

  • Shift: Monday to Friday

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems, in both residential and commercial environments.

  • Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints to determine optimal installation methods.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

  • Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local, provincial, and national electrical codes.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Journeyman Electrician certification.

  • Extensive experience in both residential and commercial electrical work.

  • Proven ability to grow and develop residential and commercial divisions.

  • Strong administrative and computer skills to efficiently record work details and assist in client invoicing.

  • Proficient in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.

  • Strong initiative with the capability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
