Adecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IPC Inspector to join our clients’ quality assurance team in Peterborough ON. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that all products and assemblies meet the IPC standards and company quality requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining the high-quality standards that our clients’ customers expect.

  • Pay rate: $19.25/hour plus $1.00 premium for 2nd shift

  • Location: Peterborough, ON

  • Shifts: 2 shifts available

    • 1st – Monday-Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm and Fridays 7:45am-12:30pm

    • 2nd - Monday-Thursday 3:45pm-1:00am and Fridays 12:00pm-4:45pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Gather and label defect images for the refinement of cards

  • Perform automated inspection of the cards, assessing image quality and correcting scan parameters as needed

  • Plan and execute timely and accurate scans and analyses

  • Work in close collaboration with the processing and engineering teams to improve visual defect yields and resolve processing issues

  • Help with lab automation as needed and other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing environment preferred.

  • IPC 7721/7722 certification required

  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 standards an asset.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
