The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment, including motors, transformers, and generators.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in industrial machinery and systems to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure efficient operation and prevent breakdowns.
Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
Collaborate with maintenance personnel and engineers to resolve complex electrical issues.
Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
Install and program PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and other automated systems.
Use tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment to identify issues and repair electrical components.
Provide technical support and training to other team members on electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent qualification.
3+ years of experience working as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
Experience with PLCs, control systems, and automated machinery.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces, heights, and around heavy machinery.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in demanding conditions.
? Basic knowledge of mechanical systems is a plus.
