Adecco is currently hiring several temporary, full-time Greeters to work at one of our reputable clients. In this role you will be responsible for greeting guests and visitors. This role requires strong communication skills and at least 1-year previous experience in a customer facing role. For this position you must meet the eligibility criteria for a USA security clearance, which includes a residency requirement of a minimum of five years in Canada.

  • Pay rate: up to $20.02/hour

  • Location: Calgary, AB

  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 7:15 AM- 3:45 PM

  • Job type: Full-time | Temporary | ongoing

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Screen Applicants, and facilitate the efficient queuing, entry, and movement of applicants into the designated areas

  • Verify applicants’ documentation to ensure it is complete and in the defined order identify deficiencies and inform the client

  • Coordinate the queues of applicants into agreed upon time blocks

  • Ensure that the waiting time is kept to a minimum for applicants with any mental or physical limitations

  • Ensure that the public is treated fairly, professionally, and courteously

  • Perform document sorting, packaging, labeling, and tracking for courier pick up

  • Respond to any crowd control emergency and alert Mission guards as appropriate.

  • Be alert to any evidence of fraud and report these instances to the Operations Manager

  • Receive applicant complaints and inform the Operations Manager

  • Work intermittently outdoors to welcome applicants, review documentation and perform other crowd control functions

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager 

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • A High school diploma is required

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service is a must

  • Should have basic experience working with computers, printers, and Android tablets

  • Must be willing to obtain and retain a USG security clearance

  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Other languages, mainly French, are an asset

  • Able to work effectively under pressure and in a changing environment

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are a must

  • Must wear the uniform provided

  • Should have a professional appearance and demeanor with an outstanding customer service-oriented personality

  • Able to work in a large team environment

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
