Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Forklift Operator for our client in Ingleside, ON.
As a Forklift Operator, you will perform various warehouse duties, including operating forklifts, receiving goods, picking orders, loading and unloading trailers, conducting inventory and cycle counts, and assisting with general material handling. Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts or end riders to move products within the warehouse and to various locations.
Pick orders for shipment, verifying accuracy, and palletizing products for storage or shipment.
Load and unload trailers physically and with forklifts.
Place and retrieve products from pallet racking systems, bulk storage, and staging areas.
Utilize radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put-away, and loading tasks.
Conduct inventory and cycle counts to ensure proper inventory management.
Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse, including debris removal and reorganization of stray products.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of forklifts, batteries, and spill kits.
Follow all safety guidelines, standard operating procedures, and company policies.
Participate in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) training and meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Current forklift operation certificate (required).
Experience with end riders (desired but not essential).
Workplace safety training, including WHMIS (required).
Fall arrest and TDG training (desired but not essential).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken); French is an asset.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with inventory management software.
Education & Work Experience:
High school diploma required.
1–5 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada.
