Adecco is currently seeking a full-time Journeyperson Crane Operator to join our esteemed client, one of Canada's largest renewable diesel refineries located in Edmonton, AB. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment on construction sites. ·       Pay Rate: $48.62/hour ($3/hour night shift premium)

·       Location: Edmonton, AB | Local residency

·       Shift: Night Shift | 8-10 hours Shift

·       Job type: Full-time |2-month Contract with the possibility of permanent placement

·       Additional Overtime offered

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Operate various types of cranes

·       Perform pre-operational inspections and maintenance on cranes

·       Interpret load charts and rigging plans to determine safe lifting procedures

·       Communicate with ground personnel using hand signals or radio communication

·       Ensure that all lifting operations are conducted safely and efficiently

·       Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies

 Requirements and Qualifications: 

·       Eligible to work and reside in Canada

·       Must be local to Edmonton, AB, or nearby cities

·       5 Years of experience in Industrial Mod Yard Construction.

·       5 Years of experience in RT Tadano 100T and similar.

·       Valid Journeyman (JM) Mobile Crane Operator Ticket.

·       Knowledge of crane operation techniques, safety procedures, and rigging practices

·       Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

·       Ability to handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more

·       Must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test.

·       Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean Driver’s abstract

·       Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in inclement weather

·       Willingness to support extended hours and overtime as needed

·       Daily commute to work required.
