Adecco is currently seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced, on-site work environment.
The Bilingual Human Resources Generalist will have the following responsibilities:
  - Develop and integrate HR processes within the faculty/service framework;
  - Maintain comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and practices;
  - Align local HR practices with faculty/service objectives;
  - Provide expert advice on employee relations matters;
  - Conduct investigations and recommend actions for disciplinary and performance issues;
  - Participate in grievance resolution and collective bargaining processes;
  - Facilitate new employee orientation sessions;
  - Promote understanding of HR policies and practices;
  - Assess training needs and collaborate on development plans;
  - Monitor and report on training activities within the faculty/service;
  - Support management and staff in performance appraisal processes;
  - Recommend actions to enhance employee performance and growth;
The Bilingual Human Resources Generalist must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Must have knowledge of HR principles acquired through postsecondary education or equivalent experience;
- Must have a minimum 3+ years of HR experience;
- Must have proficiency in staffing, classification, employee relations, or organizational development;
- Must have familiarity with HR laws and practices, including collective agreements;
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in office software;
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities;
- Ability to work independently and in a team under pressure;
- Initiative, leadership, and sound judgment;
- Excellent organizational and communication skills;
- Discretion and tact in handling confidential information;
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written);
