Adecco is currently hiring several full-time Assembly Technicians to work mornings for our client, Celestica, a globally known electronics manufacturer in Mississauga, ON. In this position, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the accurate and efficient assembly of products. **As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.

  • Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

  • Location: Mississauga, ON

  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 7:30am – 3:30pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Test, calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances to product specifications.

  • Lifting 30lbs or less with moderate machine operation

  • Uses hand tools and power tools according to product specifications

  • Participate and effectively communicate with Team to prevent defects, increase efficiency and improve all around safety Perform preventative maintenance task and standard start checks as per ETQ.

  • Work to drawings and test documents.

  • Adherence to all safety, ESD, housekeeping policies and procedures

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • College Diploma/Degree and or equivalent Military experience.

  • Experience in electronic assembly.

  • Experience in troubleshooting down to the component level.

  • Experience in power electronics for analog and digital circuits.

  • Security clearance as per CGP is required.

  • Working knowledge of English language, good verbal and written communication skills

  • Good manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination

  • Good team player Able to work from drawings and written instructions

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Able to multi tasks

  • Flexible to work on a Second or Third shift when/if required

  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs consistently
