Celestica, a globally known electronics manufacturer in Mississauga, ON is looking for Morning Assemblers!

In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical and electronic assembly operations based on IPC and customer specifications. This role is a full-time position and requires the ability to work 40 hours weekly. This role also requires that you are legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

**As this role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) the qualifying applicants must possess Canadian Citizenship or permanent residency status. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.

  • Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

  • Location: Winston Churchill Blvd, and Unity Dr. in Mississauga ON

  • Shift: Days | 7:00am – 3:30pm

  • Job type: Full time contract, long term with permanent opportunities

Light Assembler Job responsibilities include: 

  • Able to set up and calibrate mechanical assembly tools used in the assembly process

  • Use hand tools such as screw drivers to assemble units according to product specification

  • Able to perform a variety of mechanical and electronic assembly operations based on IPC and customer specifications

  • Other tasks assigned by lead head/supervisor

To qualify, you should: 

  • Minimum of 6 months experience as an assembler, hand solder experience 

  • Able to lift, carry and maneuver material or equipment (up to 35lbs)

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, consistently bending, and being able to pull carts

  • Proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required

  • You must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

As this position involves work that is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP), your employment offer is conditional upon the successful completion of a security assessment by Adecco and its authorized agents, per the Controlled Goods Regulations.
