Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Administrator to join a prominent Canadian petroleum refining company located in Norman Wells, NT. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a range of on-site administrative duties. This role involves overseeing general on-site administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of administrative experience, a background in customer service, and exceptional troubleshooting and communication skills.   • Shifts: Monday – Friday | 40 hours / week

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, laminating, and shredding

  • Handle mailroom duties, such as sending and receiving documents/supplies by mail, post, courier, or charter

  • Order and coordinate materials and supplies, including office furniture, ergonomic equipment, and stationary

  • Support emergency response teams and room organization

  • Coordinate events and serve as an ergonomic assessment contact

  • Provide printer/copier and other on-site IT support

  • Assist with hiring processes, including internet postings and interview arrangements

  • Support community events coordination

  • Manage confidential records and file room operations

  • Offer administrative support for Joint Information Center (JIC), including meeting minutes

  • Assist overall leadership with various administrative needs

Requirements and Qualifications: 

  • 2-3 years of administrative experience

  • Customer service experience

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

  • Strong problem-solving skills with moderate work direction

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email systems

  • Strong administrative coordination abilities

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
